Art Clay Silver is an incredible product that is changing the face of jewelry making. Art Clay Silver is a malleable Clay a mixture of pure metal powders (silver or gold), non-toxic binders and water. In its clay state fresh from the package, it can be rolled, sculpted, stamped, engraved and more. Once air-dried, it may be further refined by filing and carving. It is fired in a kiln, or with a butane torch or gaz stove-top, at which time the binders burn away leaving a form in pure 99.9% silver. Once it is in its pure silver form, it can be further formed, forged and polished.

Art Clay Silver precious metal clay can be added to and mixed to a variety of other materials, for the popular multi-media look in jewelry. It can be used with glass, ceramics, porcelain and polymer clay, to name a few.

Art Clay Silver will shrink about 8-10%. Low Fire Clay means that it can be fired as low as 1200 (degrees F) for 30 minutes, making it suitable to fire with dichroic glass cabochons as well as many gemstones as inclusions ~ plus fire-in fine or sterling silver findings. Slow dry art clay silver dries four times slower, so it is perfect for things that take a bit more time, such as intricate detail, braiding, or weaving.

Art Clay Silver needs to be stored at room temperature and kept out of direct sunlight. If you are not planning on using all your Metal Clay at once, it may be stored wrapped tightly in an air-tight container, such as an old film canister.

It really is that easy (and fun!) to create the jewelry of your dreams today with Art clay silver! Please dont hesitate if I can be of any help or service to you.
