Oftentimes, I tend to stay within my 'realm'.  Whereas I used to read novels quite a lot, they've become replaced with the myriad of trade magazines I subscribe to. I tend to make mounds of the unread ones, with every intention of doing more than a quick skim-through.  The thing is, each one of them is packed with new ideas, new inspirations, new tools and colors and shapes and more.  Each one takes time, but who's got all this time needed to devote to this one task??  Further, the time I spend online is mostly related to lampwork glass, jewelry making, Metal Clay... 

 

In essence even when I'm not working, I'm working.  Or exploring, discovering, learning more about what I do do when I do work.  Or lolly-gagging in the produce section, considering the design possiblities and textures in a variety of fruits and nuts.  Serious stuff.  ;)  I simply need more time in a day!  (Don't we all?)

 

Since my Studio is in my home, and since I spread myself all throughout my house anyways,  it means 'everything' is always within view in some way, shape or form.

 

Mostly it works for me, but some days, it's simply too much, and although I love it all, I wish that my teeny home was just a <bit> bigger so I could find a place to stash it all, away from my sight. 

 

This set me on a path of thought this morning, as I've been exploring my own reality of where-the-heck I'm going to put this stuff ~ I was elated to discover the thrilling potential of SixthSense technology.  Finally - all my trade mags literally in the palm of my hand.  What a fabulous concept.  This man is a pure genius, and much more.  Enjoy ~!
